Compliance status
This website is partially compliant with the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines version 2.2 AA standard, due to the non-compliances listed below.
Non-accessible content
The content listed below is non-accessible for the following reasons.
Non-compliance with the accessibility regulations
Based on a recent audit, the following issues were identified:
- Visual adjustments not supported – The website does not provide built-in options for users to change colours, contrast, or font settings. This affects WCAG 2.2 success criteria related to adaptable presentation and user preferences (notably 1.4.8 and related AAA techniques). We aim to introduce a user-controlled display options panel by December 2025.
-
Images without alt text – Some images do not have descriptive alternative text. This fails WCAG 2.2 success criterion 1.1.1. We are working to ensure all images include meaningful alt text.
-
Video and audio content – Some prerecorded media lacks captions, transcripts or audio descriptions (1.2.1–1.2.5). We plan to address this for all future content uploads.
-
Form inputs – Some inputs lack appropriate labels or accessible name values (3.3.2, 1.3.1). We are reviewing our forms to correct this.
-
Focus visibility and order – Some elements may not have a clear focus state or logical order (2.4.3, 2.4.7). We are actively resolving these issues in our navigation and interactive components.
We aim to resolve these issues by December 2025.
Disproportionate burden
At present, we have not claimed disproportionate burden for any content.
Content that’s not within the scope of the accessibility regulations
-
PDFs and other documents published before 23 September 2018 are not fully accessible, but these are exempt from the regulations.
-
Third-party content embedded on the site that is not under our control is also outside the scope of these regulations.
